This ground floor apartment which comes with an unfurnished interior has been completely renovated several years ago (late 2016/early 2017). In addition, there is an enclosed garden to enjoy plenty of daylight. The layout could suit either a single occupant, couple or even a small family as a very comfortable home!
Flat sharing with two individuals is not possible.
Layout
Passing through the front door, a central hallway connects to all of the rooms. Directly to the left is a master bedroom with enough space for a decent sized bed, wardrobe closet and more. Straight ahead through the hallway is the second bedroom. Smaller, but ideal as a multifunctional room. Opposite this bedroom is a separate toilet. Next up is the bathroom with its distinctive floor and wall tiling. It offers a separate shower, duals sinks with drawers underneath for towels, toiletries and such. Additional shelves are mounted on the wall as well. A laundry closet in the corner houses a brand new washer and dryer and these are neatly out of sight when not being used.
The hallway ends up in the spacious living room and open kitchen with a so-called island in front. Throughout the whole house the same, warm wooden floor is a beautiful contrast with the white walls. The kitchen island in front of the kitchen itself holds the sink as well as additional countertop space and cupboards. All the appliances are built-in such as a proper gas stove & oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Cupboards and drawers are plentiful.
From the kitchen, doors open into the garden which measures 33 m². This garden faces southwest providing lots of sunshine while at the same time a large tree offers shade as well.
Specifics
The apartment is available for a minimum 12-month lease duration and the deposit equals two months’ rent. Keeping pets and flat sharing is not allowed. Obtaining a parking permit is possible with a limited waiting list duration of several months.
Area information
This is mainly a residential and therefore quiet neighbourhood. Parking a car here is no problem at all and usually there are plenty of spots available. Around the corner, there is a bus stop for three different lines. Tram lines stop at the nearby Mercatorplein which is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Also, the Rembrandtpark (similar in size as the Vondelpark) is within walking distance. When heading to the city centre, it would not take more than 10 minutes by bike being the easiest way to get around.
